Support Mathematics at OSU

 While the day to day budget for the department is paid for by tuition and state funding, a great deal more is needed to ensure that the the department will continue to be one of the best in the country.  Endowed positions bring and keep eminent mathematicians at OSU. Other funds enhance the research environment of the department by bringing in visitors, supporting exceptional graduate students and allowing department members to attend conferences.  These funds also help faculty to attract research grants which provide further funding for these activities.

The department has been fortunate to receive alumni support over the years that has created student fellowships, endowed professorships and helped in many other ways.  However, further donations of any size can always be used.  Pleases support mathematics at OSU, to ensure that future students have the same exceptional experience that you did.

Donations through the OSU Foundation or contributions to existing funds can be made directly to the department.  If you wish to begin a new fund, make a donation in kind, or you have a special initiative, you should contact the department head or the development staff at the OSU Foundation.  Below are some ways that the department can use your help:
