Calculus & Mathematica

Calculus&Mathematica is a computer-based calculus reform project developed at the University of Illinois and Ohio State University. It uses Mathematica to teach calculus to high school and college students at over 30 institutions around the world.

Calculus Modules On-Line

This project makes use of a web browser environment in learning calculus. The modules consist of topic modules linked with case study modules, to help learn calculus and see it in context.

C4L Project

The Calculus, Concepts, Computers and Cooperative Learning (C4L) program is the result of a National Science Foundation funded research and development project begun at Purdue University under the direction of Ed Dubinksky and Keith Schwingendorf. The emphasis of the C4L program is a pedagogical approach based on a constructivist theoretical perspective of how mathematics is learned.

Computer based Calculus Project

The Old Dominion University Calculus Project was initially developed under a grant from the State Council for Higher Education in Virginia (SCHEV). The original proposal, entitled "Development of a Computer-based Calculus Curriculum", was submitted to SCHEV in 1991, and the grant was awarded in 1992. From the very beginning, we set the following two goals:
