TI-85 Specific Programs
Description: ASC files are programs for the TI-85 calculator. They
are in ASCII format. In addition, there are conversion programs
that can automatically change the format from ASCII to TI - 85 format provided you
have the "TI - Graph Link" software to read the files after the conversion.
Algebra Programs
- AUGMAT.ASC - Allow the user to solve an augmented matrix which has been entered using the matrix editor.
- CIRC.ASC - Graph a circle in standard form.
- CONIC.ASC - Graph a conic in general form (without xy - term).
- ELIPS.ASC - Graph an ellipse in standard form.
- FACSU.ASC - Return the calculator to the original factory set - up mode.
- GNCON.ASC - Graph a conic in generally form (with xy-term).
- HYPER.ASC - Graph a Hyperbola in standard form.
- INEQS.ASC - Graph one or two inequalities on the same graph.
- INVRS.ASC - Allow the user to enter a function and graph its inverse.
- LNREG.ASC - Enter data points using the "STAT" editor, then perform a linear regression analysis.
- PARAB.ASC - Graph a parabola in standard form.
- PLPTS.ASC - Enter x values and calculate y values for a given function.
- QUADE.ASC - Find the roots of a quadratic equation.
Trigonometry and Math Analysis
- ABV.ASC - Allow the user to enter two vectors, then find the angle between them.
- LNREG.ASC - Enter data points using the "STAT" editor, then perform a linear regression analysis.
- PARSU.ASC - Set up the calculator to graph parametric equations.
- PODSU.ASC - Set up the calculator to graph polar equations (in radian mode).
- TGDSU.ASC - Set up the calculator to graph trig functions (in radian mode).
- VECTINFO.ASC - Enter two vectors, and calculate the dot product and cross product.
- VISRG.ASC - Visual regression analysis. Enter data points using the "STAT" editor, then allow the user to visually investigate each of the seven regression models avail
able on the calculator.
Calculus Programs
- ARCL.ASC - Use integration to graphically find the arc length of a given function.
- CIRCUM.ASC - Use circumscribed rectangles to integrate a function graphically.
- CMASS.ASC - Find the center of mass of the area between two functions using graphical integration.
