Submission Instructions - OSU Mathematics Department Preprint Series
There are two methods of submission to the preprint series. The preferred
method is to submit directly to xxx, since your preprint will be posted
more quickly this way.
In either case, you will need to submit a TeX file. Any flavor
of TeX is fine.
Other files (e.g. figures) can be included as well.
Submit directly to xxx
You may
submit a paper to xxx yourself and then
inform the OSU Mathematics Preprint Series staff
of the reference number on xxx so that links can be provided.
To use the above web form for submission, you should first
register with xxx.
You need only register once, and then you can continue to submit
papers as quickly as you can write them!
Submit first to the OSU Mathematics Preprint Series
You may alternatively submit a TeX file directly to the OSU Mathematics
Preprint Series and then it will submitted it to xxx for you.
To submit a paper to the OSU Mathematics Preprint Series yourself, send
email.
Be sure to include the following information:
- Your name and the names of your co-authors
- The title of the preprint
- The full pathname of your TeX file.
Be sure that the files are readable and in a readable
directory. Suggestion: The directory /public/preprint on
papa is a good place to temporarily put files.
- An abstract of your paper (in some form of TeX), limited to 24 lines
of 80 characters each.
- Which category on xxx you think is most appropriate for your
paper (e.g. Algebraic Geometry or Geometric Topology). A list
of categories can be browsed at the
front for the xxx mathematics
archive.
- (Optional):
Mathematics Subject Classification number or numbers.
If you list more than one, indicate which are primary and which are
secondary, e.g. 14H52 (primary) 14K22 11G05 (secondary)
- (Optional): Add comments such as: number of pages, TeX flavor,
any special style files or macros needed, numbers of figures added...
Using either submission method, you will receive an automatic preliminary
verification of your posting from xxx, and a verification from the OSU
preprint series administration when a link is added from the OSU Preprint
web page to the xxx math front end.
If you would like preprint covers made for your preprints, include that request
in your email as well, with the number of covers needed. One extra copy
will automatically be made and placed in the reading room in any case.
Preprint covers are of course also available if you submit your
preprint to xxx yourself.
Preprints may be submitted by any member of the faculty of the
OSU Mathematics Department. Papers written by OSU Mathematics graduate
students may also be submitted by a faculty member (with the permission
of the graduate student).
Return to the OSU Mathematics Preprint Series
home page.
The OSU Mathematics Preprint Series is currently being managed by
