The font sizes for emacs and for basic xterm windows are set in the
.Xdefaults file in your home directory. There is a list of xterm
fonts that work well there also. Edit the xterm*font: line,
replacing the existing font size with a larger or smaller size.
You'll need logout of your current xterm windows and restart your window manager to see your changes.
