Computing at the OSU Mathematics Department

So why should I read this? Because it's your guide to computing resources in the Math department and if you go ask one of the admins a question that's been answered here they'll probably refer you right back to the documentation.

  Online tutorials, etc for learning the basics of using Unix, Unix editors, and HTML.
• Math Computing Howtos
  Answers to the most commonly asked "howto" questions, including where to look for answers to other questions.
• New User Guide
  An intro to what computing resources the Math department offers.
• Policies
  Policies relating to Math department computing resources including the quota system, accounts, acceptable use of the system, etc.
• News
  System news. Account deletes, Avaliable account backups, system failures, system maintance schedule, etc...
