The Department of Mathematics teaches many lower level classes each year. Each semester there may be openings for part-time teachers to teach from one to four classes in college algebra, functions, trigonometry, etc. The greatest demand is in the fall. Teaching experience in mathematics at the secondary or college level is required. Compensation is on a per course basis.
The Department offers a few upper division courses at OSU-Tulsa and sometimes needs instructional staff for courses such as linear algebra or vector calculus. A doctorate or substantial coursework in a doctoral program in mathematics and teaching experience at the collegiate level are required.
