The Mathematics Department employs students to tutor students, recommend resources, and answering computer questions related to math. The hours are flexible (anywhere from 10-12 hours/week), Sunday through Friday. The minimum requirement for application is a grade of B or better in Calculus II; be familiar with all math courses ranging from Algebra to Calculus, have knowledge of online homework programs such as WebAssign, ALEKS or MyMathLab; possess a great attitude and be a team player; have the ability and patience to work in a diverse environment. Each semester the Department hires students to grade homework papers for certain classes. Graders must be proficient in the material for the class, conscientious about completely grading accurately and on time and be able to grade as directed by the instructor or course coordinator.
