As an undergraduate at Oklahoma State University, you realize that the demands of attending classes and completing projects is further complicated by such necessities as degree planning and departmental and administrative paperwork. To this end, the Department of Mathematics has attempted to answer the many questions you may have regarding course requirements, course descriptions, faculty members, and career options. The purpose of this handbook, when used in association with the Oklahoma State University Catalogue, is to educate the student on departmental and university policy. In so doing, we hope to provide direction for the undergraduate major in mathematics.
