How to Fill Out a Degree Sheet

Sample degree sheets for both B.S. and B.A. Math degrees are included in Appendix A. The six versions for each degree reflect old (pre-1992/93) and new course numbers and requirements as they have changed over the past six years. You may only use a degree sheet that will be no more than six years old at the time you graduate.

The most recent degree sheets are available in the main Department office.

Each semester, add whatever courses you have taken (with the grades) to your degree sheet. (Don't list repeated courses twice!) The semester before you graduate, you and your adviser must file a Degree Plan with the Arts and Sciences Student Services Office. This plan lists all the courses you have taken, as well as the courses you will take during your final semester.

Notice the requirement for a Senior Capstone course. This requirement no longer exists and should be ignored for all years.
