You should probably attend at least one of the regional or national meetings (conferences) of the Mathematics Association of America. OSU is part of the Oklahoma/Arkansas section, whose annual springtime regional meeting alternates between locations in the two states. Undergraduates, graduates, and faculty all present papers (about 15 minutes long) on their work. It would be good experience for you to hear the papers and meet other MAA members; it would be even better for you to present a paper on your own work! National meetings, held every August, are also an excellent experience.
