Banach Space Bulletin Board List

If you want to be informed when new preprints are added to the archive and receive messages posted to the list, you can subscribe to the list. You can also send messages to all subscribers.

As you can see by the commands below it is possible to subscribe to the list by email. The list does not permit the command who to be used so that those who wish to remain anonymous can. However if you would like to make your name, postal address, email address or telephone number available to other users, use the subscribe form or send the information to owner-banach at math.okstate.edu.

List Commands

This is a list using the Majordomo software with the commands below. In the descriptions of the commands items contained in [ ]'s are optional. When providing the item, do not include the [ ]'s around it. It is usually safest to provide your address in commands such as subscribe, unsubscribe, and which, because majordomo will try to construct your address from the mail header otherwise. This often results in the inclusion of specific machine names and causes failures due to incorrect matching with your subscribed address.

subscribe banach [ address ]

Subscribe yourself (or address if specified) to the Banach list.

unsubscribe banach [ address ]

Unsubscribe yourself (or address if specified) from the Banach list.

get banach filename

Get a file from the Banach archive.

index banach

Return an index of files you can "get" from the Banach list.

which [ address ]

Find out which lists you (or address if specified) are on.

info banach

Retrieve the general introductory information for the Banach list.

lists

Show the lists served by this Majordomo server.

help

Retrieve this message.

end

Stop processing commands (useful if your mailer adds a signature).

Commands in the "Subject:" line are NOT processed.
