Final Exam Review

Calculus of Several Variables

MATH 4013

Final Exam format is similar to the regular test format, with the only exception that it contains 8 problems instead of 5 (remember, this is a two-hour examination). These problems represent a selection from the following topics covered in our course.

Final Exam study guide: Sections 3.2-3.4, 5.3-5.5, 6.2, 7.1-7.6 and 8.1-8.4 are on our hit list to prepare for the Final Exam. The strategy is well known: you have to review the material, which has been covered in those sections, and make sure at first that you clearly understand all notations and definitions. Furthermore, you have to know all theorems and, what is even more important, you must be able to apply them to solving problems. Our homework problems, mentioned in the class schedule, provide a good guideline to the type of problems you may encounter on the Final Exam. Additional sources of problems can be found in our tests and quizzes, as well as in the following list.
