Border Pattern Projects

The students in a mathematics class (MATH 3403 Geometric Structures) at Oklahoma State University created displays about border patterns as class projects during the fall of 1998. The displays were so attractive that we wanted to share them.

Students were asked to imagine the (fictitious) setting:
For an education conference at OSU, 7th an 8th grade students and their teachers will be coming on campus as part of a professional development day. Your group has been selected to develop an educational display which presents practical information about borders which the students will be able to apply to their everyday world.

Borders, Borders, Borders was created by Hitoshi, Debbie, Wendi and Tasha.
Under the Sea Borders was created by Amber, Heather and Keith.
Border Patterns (with a Christmas flare) was created by Sarah, Karena and Tara.
