2010 High School contest

Fall 2010 High School Math Contest

The fifth of the new series of contests was held on Thursday, October 7, 2010 at the Wes Watkins Center on the Stillwater campus of OSU.  Approximately 235 students participated from the following schools in Oklahoma and Texas:  Ada, Arkoma, Colcord, Dale, Dustin, Haileyville, Haskell, Hilldale, Kremlin - Hillsdale, Norman North, Northwest Classen, Oakridge, Oaks Mission, Oklahoma Christian, OSSM - Muskogee, OSSM - Oklahoma City, OSSM - Tahlequah, OSSM - Wayne, Rush Springs, St. Mark's, Stillwater, Regent Prep, Tahlequah, and Union.

 

2012 High School contest

The seventh of the new series of contests was held on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at the Wes Watkins Center on the Stillwater campus of OSU.  Approximately 340 students participated from the following schools in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, and Alabama:  Adair, Arkoma, Butner, Canute, Cherokee, Colcord, Coyle, Dover, Eisenhower, Foyle, Haileyville, Harrah, Haskell, Hobart, Hydro-Eakly, Keota, Maize, Norman High, Oakridge, Oaks Mission, OSSM - Muskogee, OSSM - Oklahoma City, OSSM - Tahlequah, Quapaw, Rock Creek, Santa Fe South, South Coffeyville, St. Mark's, Tahlequah, Union, Vestavia Hills, and Waynoka.

 

The contest is held annually in the fall. The contest is in two parts. The first part is approximately 25 multiple choice questions. The second part is a team round containing about five more difficult problems involving ideas about geometry, counting, etc.  Students worked these problems in groups of four and submitted jointly written solutions.
 

Next year's contest will be held on October 8, 2013.

The sixth of the new series of contests was held on Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at the Wes Watkins Center on the Stillwater campus of OSU.  Approximately 260 students participated from the following schools in Oklahoma and Texas:  Adair, Arkoma, Braggs, Bridge Creek, Chouteau, Colcord, Crescent, Dover, Dustin, Fort Gibson, Foyil, Haileyville, Haskell, Keys, Oakridge, OSSM - Muskogee, OSSM - Oklahoma City, OSSM - Tahlequah, Santa Fe South, St. Mark's, Tahlequah, Union, and Western Heights.

2009 High School Math Contest

The fourth of the new series of the high school math contests was held from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at the Wes Watkins Center on the Stillwater campus of OSU. Approximately 215 students participated from the following schools from Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas: Arkoma, Bluestem, Dustin, Haskell, Muskogee, Norman North, Oakridge, Oaks Mission, OSSM-OKC, OSSM-Ardmore, OSSM-Chickasaw, OSSM-Enid, OSSM-Muskogee, OSSM-Tahlequah, OSSM-Wayne, OSSM-WTC, St. Mark's School, Stillwater and Westville.

The third of the new series of contests was held on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at the Wes Watkins Center on the Stillwater campus of OSU. Approximately 200 students participated from the following schools.

When to Enroll: No later than 12:30pm on Tuesday, October 7, 2008. (Deadline extended.)
When to take the Contest: 1:00pm –– 4:00pm on October 8, 2008
